Indeed there is wisdom, nam within in it. In many ways it is understandable why many distance themselves from certain stuff because of political realities, but as Bhai Gurdas Ji says "ramaein jug jug attal sae oudhharae jo aeae sarana". I don't want to be one of those people that use bani to promote a certain point of view, because we all understand bani on a personal level. Ram and Ravan are often quoted in Gurbani. You could say they are only reffered to in Gurbani to represent certain energies or to explain stuff, but you can say the same for the whole of the Ramayana. "amachandh niramal purakh dhharamahu saeir pathhar tharana." I believe the Ramayana portrays, passes on the Dharmic qualities of Rama to the reader. I am a fan of Singh Sabha movement because it was necessary. But at the same time its important to keep gian in Sikhi. I also believe Gurbachan Singh has been somewhat mis represented. Look at his comments, "Though I have not received a complaint in this regard, I think it is unreasonable to mock at religious deities like this. Ravana is known as evil. How can Ravana and Sita dance together? That the dance was done by two Sikhs is condemnable.” By this comment it can be understood that Gurbachan Singh has taken exception to the fact that two Sikhs have mocked the tale of Rama. He actually questions how Ravan and Sita can dance together, because factually it is not true and I believe Gurbachan Singh has enough gian to know this. By no means is Gurbachan Singh condenming the Ramaein; rather its false and mocking representation by two Sikhs! I don't think any action should be taken about this. There are far more pressing matters for Sikhs to worry about.

These are all first class Rascals no different than Maharashi Mahesh Yogi and Bhagavan Ragneesh these Rascal Gurus have no philosophy and caters to a fallen Hindu Community in America and where ever they are sent by the RSS/VHP/Bajrang Dal But we should always remember that the concept of the Absolute Truth (Wahaguru Ji) as female as taught by Ramakrishna Mission/Vivekananda is a lusty one, And.
